French researchers have developed wallpaper that’s designed to trap Wi-Fi signals, without interfering with radio or cellphone signals. It uses conductive ink containing silver crystals to to block a Wi-Fi router’s operating frequencies: your router should work as expected, but the signal won’t travel beyond the wallpaper’s boundaries.

But will it stop freeloading neighbors?

I’m sitting here on my couch watching the Masters live — not on my television, but on my iPad. And I can switch to other video feeds depending on which players/holes I want to watch. 6 different feeds are live right now.

I can watch highlights right after they happen. I can check…

I agree completely with MG on this. The problem in the F1 world is the how deeply addicted Bernie is to TV money. We in the U.S. are left to watch horribly substandard coverage with no cable-free options because the TV rights are everything to Bernie. I’ve said this for years: I’ll pay handsomely for a full-featured iPad app to watch races with time-shifting, camera selection, data feeds and the ability to toss video to my TV. Throw in historic video and some feature shows to sweeten the deal. Charge me $150/year and I’m in.
